Travis Kelce Reacts to Taylor Swift Changing Karma Lyrics to Reference Him During Her Eras Tour Show

The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, had multiple sweet moments during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in Argentina on Saturday. He was spotted looking very surprised during one particular moment. Travis Kelce was seen enjoying the show and having a great time throughout.

Kelce, who is 34 years old, had a surprising moment during the night when the 33-year-old singer referred to him in a lyric change to her song “Karma” at her concert in Buenos Aires’ Estadio River Plate in Argentina on Saturday.

The reaction of the NFL player was captured on film as he watched Swift perform during the Latin leg of the Eras Tour, after flying in from the U.S. on Friday.

In footage shared by a concertgoer, Kelce stood next to Scott Kingsley Swift, the singer’s dad, in the VIP tent as Swift performed her track titled “Karma.” You can watch the footage here.

The pop star then changed the lyrics of the song, singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” which caused Kelce to flash a big grin. Swift’s dad also showed excitement by tapping the NFL player on the shoulder and clapping in support.

Kelce was shocked, covering his head with his hands as fans cheered. He then raised his arms and moved them along to the song.

In another clip posted by a fan, taken moments later, Swift appeared to look fondly at Kelce from the stage as he blew her a kiss and waved at her at the end of the song. Later, she reciprocated the gesture more directly when she ran backstage into Kelce’s arms — he was waiting to greet her after the show — and planted a kiss on him.

During the concert, Kelce showed plenty of support for Swift. He was even filmed holding up a sign that read, “WE WILL STAY,” while she sang her track “The Archer,” which includes the lyrics, “I’ve been the archer / I’ve been the prey / Who could ever leave me, darling? / But who could stay?”

In another video taken during the show, the NFL star, who is clearly a Swiftie, was also seen singing and dancing along to Swift’s song “Blank Space” as she performed.

Kelce also showed love to fans during the night. At one point, the tight end was filmed by a concertgoer making a heart sign with his hands while being led through the crowd.

Kelce’s appearance at Swift’s show comes after the pair spent a date night in Buenos Aires on Friday, following the tight end’s arrival in the South American country the same day.

Their dinner, which took place after Swift’s show on Friday, was postponed until Sunday due to bad weather. It was held in a private room at Elena restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Kelce was described as “beaming” during the evening, and according to a source, he and Swift looked adorable on their low-key date night. The insider also mentioned that they left the venue while holding hands, which briefly elicited cheers from the crowd.

On their podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Kelce had previously hinted to his brother, Jason Kelce, that he would be joining Swift in Argentina.

This union in South America follows Swift’s attendance at a Kansas City Chiefs game in Missouri on September 24. According to a source, their romance has been progressing and becoming “more serious.”
